We begin in the name of Allah, The General Merciful, The Especially Merciful.
We praise Allah and we send Salaat and Peace to the one whom there is no prophet after.
It is upon every muslim to become proud of their religion as Allah commanded us, but how can we be proud of our religion when we do not learn it like the way it deserves. They say small amount of people can go learn so that they become scholars and teachers. My question to these people, do you go to these scholars and teachers to learn? if you say yes, then great, if not, then what is your excuse for not learning. The reality is when we care and love something, we go get it by any mean necessary.
Before I talk about the importance of learning the religion, what do I mean learn Islam? that is to learn the recitation of the Quran and understand it even it has to be some verses throughout the Quran on oneness of Allah called Tawheed and leave the muhkamaat verses to the scholars to interpret, learn some sayings and actions of The Messanger known as hadeeth, learn the The Messanger's seerah or his lifetime, learn basic worship like the pillars of Islam, learn basic level of Arabic language in terms of reading and writing, and finally some Islamic history.
Learn those at least at a basic level. then leave the rest to the sholars, teachers, and students of knowledge. The scolars are the one who give fatwa or rulings to societies at a community level or to individuals when the issue arise. They master Islamic sciences and are aware of the communities they serve.
Islam is the only true religion on the earth. The only religion that is accepted by Allah The Originator. It is the religion of our father Adam, The Messanger Nuh, The Messanger Ebraheem, The Messanger Moosaa, The Messanger Eesaa, and our beloved, The last Messanger Muhammad, peace be upon them all. If you learn and understand this religion, you will be proud of yourself, your Eemaa increases, and it can protect from nifaaq. The munaafiqoon do not understand as Allah says.
Eemaan is sweet as the Messanger point to, so whoever catch the sweetness of Eemaan, will be proud of it, thankful to Allah, help his religion, struggles in his way, hates to be a Kafir, and call himself a Muslim.
The mu'minoon or the believers are praised by Allah, while the munaafiqoon were criticized, who are not proud of Islam but hate it. We should be careful of falling into nifaaq like The Sahaabas or The Messanger's companions used to.
May Allah beautify our hearts with Eemaan until we catch the it's sweetness and being proud Muslims, and may he prtotect us from nifaaq.
Was Salaam.
